Day 5 - Sunday ... food and frolic

A quick little 30 minute run before heading to the U of O pool for a 90 minute swim with the Rideau Speedeaus. Good swim workout. Cooked some curry and two apple/pear pies :)

I guess I should run some more tomorrow.

Day 4 - Running with the Frontrunners

Quick 40 minute run this morning. Beautiful, cool, sunny fall day. Kept a quick pace; under 5:30 for the entire run. Afterwards, blueberry pancakes, the Y for some weight training, and then a 2 1/2 hour hike in the Gatineau Park.

Day 3 - First Friday

First Friday of the month and day 3 in my 'run everyday' routine. Today, an easy 45 minute run on the treadmill, watching CNN.

Day 2 - October 2

Another day, another run ... so its only two in a row ... that is better than I've been doing the past few weeks.

Up late did not help, but 45 minutes on the treadmill passed quickly with the help of the season opener of "Heroes."

Off to the gym tonight for some weight training.

Day 1 ... pants are too tight

So, after a month of sitting on my butt (well, mostly) and watching my waste line expand it is time to start moving again.

30 minutes on the treadmill before work.
