I signed up for this half marathon to run with Kawal and was talked into joining one of the Frontrunners' teams.
A cool autumn morning ... but sunny ... so you know what that means: warming up during the run no matter how cool the air is.
I started with K and ran with him for a few KM. We wished each other good luck and said good bye ... on my own now ...
I found my pace and stuck with it. The day was beautiful, sunny, bright. I kept on my pace and just toodled along. I had no idea of how long I had been running ... As I neared the finish line I saw that I was under two hours ... not the fastest time for me ... but I was determined to make sure I finished under 2:00:00. I pumped up and crossed the finish line at 1:58 ... I found out later that my chip time was 1:55 and that the Frontrunner team I was on came in second place overall.
